Associated with our IMS HPDE weekend, for our advanced solo drivers we have arranged a rare opportunity to experience the premier track driving / racing simulator in the industry, located at the Dallara factory just outside the IMS facility in Speedway, IN.
We have tentatively reserved 1,2, or 3 days of the driving simulator, book-ending our IMS HPDE. As you can imagine, this is a big ticket item, but we have gotten Dallara to agree to allow us book 10 drivers per day to try out the SIM (bucket list model). The cost per person is $755 – with each driver getting two (2) seat sessions (~20 minute intro & ~25 minute full experience- ~45 minutes total). To secure a day we will need 10 drivers to commit and pay for the day to be booked. Dan Clarke will be on point during the day, coordinating our activities with Dallara and offering coaching.
Depending on the make-up of the group, one of the two schedule models shown below will be the plan for the day. A GT car (based on data from a Ferrari Challenge, 991 Cup car, Cayman Clubsport, Cayman GTB-1 car, or Porsche 944 SP3 are possible choices) is the plan simulated vehicle dynamics and track selection will be made by the group (lots to chose from IMSA/F1/F2/LMP tracks, the Ring, SPA, Top Gear, and more) for day. The group for that day will have to settle on a common set up.

Below is a rental/use schedule to divided the same SIM time rental between 10 drivers. The 5 & 5 format (first schedule) may be the preferred, thus only taking 1/2 day (morning or afternoon) of your time.
Dallara-5×2 Dallara-10×1Dates for possible rental are Aug 8th and Aug 7th before our Indy event. The 8th (Thursday) being the first date to try and fill up and then overflow if demand is there for the 7th (Wed) and or possibly the Monday afterwards (Aug 12th). To rent any day we need 10 drivers to sign up for the day. Once committed / paid, the rental fee is non refundable as the other 9 drivers are counting on you to make the rental possible. If a wait list, then a substitution could be possible.

As you can imagine, Dallara is pitching this to serious amateur drivers (racers and HPDE), but not to the general public or under 18. If you know of other solo qualified drivers you think would be interested in joining you for a rental day, let us know and we can discuss the possibility to extended them an invite to join you. If they are not already signed up for IMS event, we are now wait listing all advanced solo run groups, but they are still welcome to join you in a SIM day event.
